The Boathouse Balmoral – Mosman

As you probably know one of my favourite things to do is visit trendy cafes for breakfast or lunch. I am going to start posting different cafes around Sydney with my opinion of them so you can see what to expect before visiting. Every cafe is nice in its own way and everyone’s opinion varies. This is my own subjective opinion of these cafes. Personally I love a cafe where you can sit with lots of natural light (mostly for the Instagram photo haha). Today I visited The Boathouse Balmoral. I have heard a lot of good things about this cafe and have been wanting to visit for quite a while. First impression was amazing, I fell in love with the setup and design of the whole place. If I got the opportunity to open a cafe in one of my lifetimes it would look exactly like this. I love love loved it. Although it is very busy and they don’t take bookings it is worth the wait. we weren’t able to get one of the tables looking straight over the water, but every table is nice. The food is pretty pricey being at around $18 a dish for breakfast and was pretty good. I mean it is hard to complain about the price as everywhere to eat in Sydney is really expensive lately, especially the trendy places. Parking is quite easy near cafe, but there is no train that goes near here, you would have to catch a bus if you opt for public transport. I do highly recommend this cafe, service was fast and the staff were very friendly. It is located in a really nice area that you can explore after your meal.
